Our current plan is to roll out the release in 3 large phases...

- Private Alpha (2013)
- Public Beta (2014 - you'll be able to pre-order and get beta access)
- Public Steam Release (2014 - early access)

... we're about a month away from the release of our internal alpha. Beta and the Steam release will happen when we're they're ready. I'd love to promise a date, but I'm terrible at predicting dates (turns out).

We're exploring the possibility of hiring another developer to focus on collisions, but this won't hold up either alpha or beta as collisions are already much improved than the current version (but still not good enough).

Ok Dan, predict a date then double the time between now and the date and that will probably be accurate (it has been every time in the past)

Probably, if it's a private alpha then some hired testers will have it. Not some random user on the forum.

Probably it's going to be around 25$. If the current version is 20$ then the next version it's going to be somewhere between 20 and 30 dollars.

Unfortunately the alpha version will only be available via Steam. We expect to release a standalone version for the final release however.

Yes can you give a specific date or month. So that we can get an idea of the release date of "Us2"

I don't think it's a good idea to set up "specific" dates. What if GA overshoots the date? Then there will be countless consequences that I cannot begin to list.

Just a general month group is fine with me.

Yes I know "GA" has already Encountered this kind of problem .... Yes a group of months Would be good. it would be an announcement of a release between June and August, for example ..
