it really depends on how you look at it. first of all, a week is a very short time period to be deciding on whether the forum died. september isn't even over yet, but i extrapolated to give a picture of what's happening

in this graph, it looks like the forum peaked in march 2012 and has been falling ever since

however, in this graph, it's apparent that august has always been a low month -- only, we haven't pulled out of the decline in august yet. the lack of posts might just be a fluctuation. by the end of the year, it should become apparent whether this year ends like 2010, 2011, and 2012: with 3000 posts, or like 2009 with a decline.
