Scoreboard
Bla - 9 points
NeutronStar - 11 points
Naru523 - 5 points
-
Some tiny particle thing in every quark.
((The problem is anyone can search it up, you can't stop them))
-
Correct. Two Points
NeutronStar: 2
Next Question:
What is an example of dark matter?
(no google searches)
-
you can't stop them
Ummm... Idk.
-
WIMP... Think it's an abbreviation for weakly interacting massive particles or something like that, if needed.
There is also another type of dark matter.
-
actually as far as i know we have no clue whatsoever what dark matter is
-
Bla is right!
What is the thing that draws a galaxy cluster to the a specific spot in the universe?
Hint: Has Dark in its name.
-
Dark Energy?
-
naru's probably right. Dark kasplosion?
-
After 3 more wrong answers, I will tell you the answer. Keep guessing.
-
It's gotta be dark energy. Dark matter, dark energy... There's nothing else!
-
I will tell you the answer.
Dark Flow!
Come on! You have to know Dark Flow!
What is the opposite of an electron?
-
positron! 2 points more for me!
-
Wahoo!
NeutronStar:
2 points+2 points=4 points
-
Do you know Dark Polytron. combination of positron and electron.
-
What particle is very common that we get here on earth. It only exists a few seconds, and there is a proposed element where this particle is in it.
-
New Rule: Don't Post a Question Yourself
-
Fine. Well... I can't wait on you all day... ::)
-
What is the particle possibly responsible for mass?
-
that would be the higgs-boson particle aka the god particle
-
BINGO!!!
Bla: 2 points
Space Guy1: 2 points
NeutronStar: 4 points!
Next Question;
What is an example of a lepton?
-
The Tauon, Muon, electron, and the three neutrinos.
-
I have a whole bunch of good questions to ask! Name a particle that come from the decay of a muon.
-
Quarks?
-
Name a star with quarks.
-
Trick Question!
-
I think it is a quark star.
-
I am restarting the game.
Next Question:
What is the particle that causes negative mass?
-
Ummm... exotic matter??
-
Wrong.
Think about Anti. Add the thing that causes mass to anti-.
-
I think the closest you will come to "negative mass" would be the dark energy, which accelerates the expansion of the universe, like a force opposing gravity.
Antimatter doesn't have negative mass, but the antimatter particles have opposite charges of normal matter (positron = positive electron etc.), if that was what you meant by anti-. :)
-
You are wrong.
It is the Anti-Higgs Boson.
-
You are wrong.
It is the Anti-Higgs Boson.
Aha, why hadn't I thought about that. Sorry. But have we ever observed something that could lead to this particle?
-
Or the anti-graviton
-
Or the anti-graviton
1 point for NeutronStar.
-
Isn't that point yours?
You are wrong.
It is the Anti-Higgs Boson.
Note how you said that.
-
Next question?
-
Whoa! You are on!
What is the opposite of a positron?
-
Electron.
-
What is the mass of Neptune in micrograms?
-
I don't know. We're not learning that... YET... :P
-
Find the mass and convert it. COme on, its just 10's! It's not binary.
2 10
4 100
8 1000
16 10000
32 100000
64 1000000
128 10000000
256 100000000
512 1000000000
1024! 10000000000
-
Off track!
Get on track question:
What is the thing that causes death?
(trick question)
-
Neptune's mass is 1,0243 • 1035 µg.
There is not one single thing causing death, but what would cause death fastest would be to make the brain and/or heart stop working, or stop them working together by seperating them. But if some of the other organs stop working, it can also cause death. And if the blood is unable to supply the cells with oxygen, perhaps because of cold or CO, or something else binding to the blood cells.
-
Life.
What is the thing that causes death?
-
There's no answer to that question!
-
No, it was an answer to your "What causes death?". Doesn't that make sense that I quoted it?
If "Life?" was a question it would be 42.
-
No, it was an answer to your "What causes death?". Doesn't that make sense that I quoted it?
If "Life?" was a question it would be 42.
I know it was the answer, but there actually is no answer.
-
What is "the answer to life, the universe, and everything"?
-
It would be 42.
-
BINGO!!!
Bla: 2 points
Space Guy1: 2 points
NeutronStar: 4 points!
Naru523: 2 points
BONUS:
What are all the names of the quarks?
Answer this one right and get 4 points!
-
Up quark, down quark, charm quark, strange quark... Hmmmm... Can't remember the last two, my guess is left quark and right quark, but it's probably wrong.
-
You get 3 points!
Bla: 5 points
Space Guy1: 2 points
NeutronStar: 4 points!
Naru523: 2 points
-
Up quark, down quark, charm quark, strange quark... Hmmmm... Can't remember the last two, my guess is left quark and right quark, but it's probably wrong.
top quark and bottom quark
-
BINGO!!! 1 point for NeutronStar!
Bla: 5 points
Space Guy1: 2 points
NeutronStar: 5 points!
Naru523: 2 points
-
What is a particle that is named after someone?
-
Einsteinium
I could be probably wrong though.
-
A particle, not an element.
-
Hmm...
-
Hint: It begins in the letter H, and it's responsible for mass.
-
Higgs boson?
-
YES!
BING BING!
Bla: 5 points
Space Guy1: 2 points
NeutronStar: 4 points
Naru523: 4 points!
YOU NOW HAVE 4 POINTS!
-
What is an atom?
-
Atom is a basic unit of matter consisting of a dense, central nucleus surrounded by a cloud of negatively charged electrons.
-
That central nucleus contains neutrons and protons. ;)
Also, there are many types, those forms are called elements.
-
Both tied, one point for each of you.
Bla: 5 points
Space Guy1: 2 points
NeutronStar: 5 points
Naru523: 5 points!
-
Lol, sorry. I always forget to go to the next page when I just see there are new posts. I assume the last post on the page is simply the last post. Sorry. :P
-
Since I counted them wrong, I got the point values wrong. So, I recounted them, and I got this.
Bla: 7 points
NeutronStar: 8 points
Naru523: 5 points

OPTICS
How does a lens work?
-
A lens bends light based on the shape of it to help focus the light from close or far away distances. Two types are Concave and Convex. Concave is like ")(" and convex is like "()"
-
NeutronStar, for you including extra information about lenses, you get 3 points.
Bla: 7 points
NeutronStar: 11 points
Naru523: 5 points
