Now that the game has begun, unless you started in 1399 you must "RSVP" about half an hour before the game, or else we are not going to be able to wait for you if you are having issues of any kind. You must be in the lobby by 5 minutes after the start time otherwise you will not be playing that day, unfortunately. The game will be hosted approximately 10 - 15 minutes before the start time. If you RSVP you are expected to be there on time (sans issues). If you get fully annexed, you will be allowed to start the next time the game is played as some other nation. If you are disconnected for some reason the game will be restarted once for you to attempt to reconnect.
This topic is for the EU3 multiplayer game and discussion on it and stuff, hopefully the times are okay with everyone.

Most games generally allow a 1 time restart per person in case of an internet failure or something. I'd like to see this here.

Good, that'll help me out some and the times would be fine for me.
For countries, I'd like to play as one of the easier ones such as Portugal, France, Spain (or Castille pre-unification), or England. Other options could be the Mameluks and the Ming, but then again, theres apparently this thing called westernization that eastern countries need to go through with their technology.

after evaluating that, i suggest this so it's easier for east coasters:
aaturday: 00 to 05 UTC (7pm to midnight on the east coast, 4pm to 9pm furthest west)
saturday: 21 to 05 UTC (4pm to midnight on the east coast, 1pm to 9pm furthest west)

No unless someone who knows UTC wants to show up on North American thursday (a day I cannot play on, this is likely for other people too) and on friday that's too early, I wouldn't even be home from school.

That makes no sense. Since the new day is a Saturday in the time that can be used for everyone in the world and off the world, it will say Saturday.
Now, I cannot be back until around 01 UTC on "Friday" (Sat UTC) unless you'd like me to start the game when I am not likely to be at home. Trust me, I made these times so that I could be here, based around all the non-flexible things that I have to do. And so that I don't keep everyone up way late (especially Yqt and other people over east). If it works for you, you can play (hurray!), if it doesn't work for you, that's unfortunate, you won't be playing.
Also, I have to say, this makes no sense, at all:

To use an example, local time here in California is 8:35 AM, I'm -8 UTC/GMT, so the UTC time is 16:34, and in NYC (which is 3 hours ahead of me), it's 11:35 AM.

160 imperial influence until I become the Holy Roman Empire. Reformation is soon though, so while the points will be available, it'll take until the late 1500s until I can start rolling out the points again.

Also, Byzantium apparently has lots of galleys for some reason, but it isn't a naval power by any means, if anything, it's a power in the Black Sea and the Eastern Mediterranean. Land power is more it's thing.

Naru still has to take Aragon, you still have to become the HRE, and I still have the GH to deal with. That will be a good 20-30 years (probably longer for me).

Becoming the HRE will require very little more HRE intervention and most of my HRE expansion is done. I do have my eyes on a certain region though which is currently owned by a neighbour.

I passed the second last reform which makes all the HRE nations my vassals. Only Frankfurt and Utretch said no (Savoy and Switzerland said yes for some reason) so it wasn't that hard to own the entire HRE.

They are a horde and you are the only human who borders them. None of us can do any diplomatic actions with them.

Maybe you can give me some through war subsidies? When I tried to do tribute to end the current Persian attack on me, i saw that the tribute was even higher than previously. How do they keep decimating my armies? Gah! I would love to know why. I suspect that it's a combination of attrition and them sending stacks of lots of units, also they have way more cavalry than I do. I need one of the western powers (Nauru most likely as he can border them) to smack down their armies.
Also, switching from patron of the arts to drill would help, unless I'm close to getting a third national idea.
I ALMOST made that one colony into a province. Maybe I should have sent them all to that one instead of spreading them out.

Is it okay if I do Castille? Me and themoocows would make great colonization competitors.
Having had some practice in SP, I know how to manage it better, and what not to do (such as warmonger too quickly, which is partially why I failed as Castille the first try around).
Otherwise, I'm not sure what small country to play as. I might play Naples, but The Italian states are difficult ones to play.

Iceland doesn't exist, but it IS owned by Norway, so you could be Norway if you wanted to. Just watch out for Naru who is playing Sweden and is certainly going to invade you at some point.
For Japan (or rather the clan-states), I've heard that its really challenging, so might want to practice some in SP.

Actually since we had time problems last game, I was thinking if people didn't mind, I could move the game back to starting at 2 UTC on Saturday and 1 UTC on Sunday (one hour), and play until 5 UTC on Saturday and 4 UTC on Sunday (3 hours).
Is this alright?
Or we could just remove one of the days.
I also propose, to increase competitiveness and stuff, that players can ally up to 2 other human players, and they may not guarantee human players. Because last game everyone was allied with everyone until a war began.
