Would it be possible to get a stand-alone installer? I've tried installing the program five times now and the download has failed every time. It's a bit frustrating.

I'm sorry it's not working for you. I'm using Microsoft's ClickOnce installer which seems to be causing problems for a number of people.
I'm working on releasing a version of Universe Sandbox with a more traditional installer in the next few days.

I am having the same problem. I download the setup.exe. It tries to download the actual program but usually fails around 10-20%. Highest I got it was 55%.
I did not see a link to a direct installation on that page. Could you provide a direct link too it?

That specific error message may mean that .NET is not installed. The ClickOnce installer should do this automatically, but it's worth testing.

I installed .net and tried again. I no longer get the 0xc0000135 error but the program hangs while loading. I tried to send the error reports but when I hit 'send' they also hang. I don't know...there's a multitude of possible issues with my computer so it could be anything.
