Dan, i was at you site looking at nature pictures (http://dandixon.us/photography/nature.htm) and I came across Moon at night. That's night? That looks like the sun in the day!
Question: You have a composite photo of 3 seperate ones, how do you make a composite with multiple pictures? What program?

Simply he has got a photocamera with an exposition ("exposure" ?) time editable, so that photo results lighter. However the camera must remain static per seconds.

Yes. I put the camera on a tripod and did a (if I remember correctly) 15 second exposure. (like FGFG said)

I used Photoshop to blend the different parts of the 3 photos into a single composite. I made each image a different layer, and then selectively erased certain parts of them in order to create the final image. The lightning images were each a 2 second exposure.

How do you choose exposure length and does F mean anything? It seems to do with exposure or ISO... I have no clue though.
