...every time there was a new spam thread, I'd be a multitrillionaire

the spams are taking over the interwebs we must take up our data swords and rebel against this SK/XK class end of the world scenario immediately

Dan and the developers are aware that it's gotten worse over the past month

Whether anything more can be done about it on this type of forum, I don't know

just make a bot that deletes any topics with a URL in the topic

probably won't stop them if they are determined though

True...just seems like every time I check the forum there's new messages and I'm happy to read them so I go into the specific forum and just "Oh...spam..." every single time :-/

And yeah, a url-spotting bot would really clean up a lot of these...

well as long as we can keep posting faster than new spambots sign up we'll make it through
