Title: Game stays in startup screen

I just bought the game and can't play, when I start it shows the splash screen and it shows below "Starting the Sandbox".

I already restarted Windows and Steam.

Any suggestions of what's going on?

I think the problem is the computer not having the minimum requirements. I have it running in my Mac Pro but cannot run in my Dell 1545, which I bought the game for.

It looks like that the installer doesn't check any requirements because it let me install it without any problem.

We do not use an installer, but we list system requirements on our website to the best of our knowledge and try to detect hardware limitations on startup. If we detect something, we show a warning, but we can't always determine this.

It looks like the Dell 1545 is fairly old hardware that would struggle with most modern games. I'm sorry that it cannot run on this system, but it's good to hear that it runs on your Mac!

Because it's tied to your Steam account, you can install Steam on any other computer, log in, and access your copy of Universe Sandbox ².
