Title: I am having problems starting Universe Sandbox 2 on steam

When I try to load up the game, it freezes up at the loading screen and does not let me play. I have tried restarting, uninstalling and closing and opening steam. None of these have worked.

Have a go at the basic troubleshooting (http://universesandbox.com/blog/2014/08/support-us2/#troubleshoot) steps if you haven't already and see if anything manages to fix it.
