Title: exotic matter
Post by: felipe on August 22, 2017, 02:30:39 PM
i think is something cool to add like exotic type of water, gas and maybe exotic life too(wen life simulation be implemented) and exotic ice too like the burning ice we founded on a ice giant

Sounds ridiculous.

Thought you meant things like Quark or Gluon Stars but Ice II and above and such things could be nice too down the road when surfaces are more detailed (I"m sure eventually they'll get to that) or from space if you set the atmosphere thickness very high.

Oh and...
Sounds ridiculous.

Why do you seem to heavily criticize every post?

Because a lot of things i don't really agree with. I don't agree with posts i have made in the past and exotic matter doesn't sound too realistic in my opinion. Exotic matter isn't really realistic in any way. Yeah i guess quark and gluon stars but they'd be nearly indistinguishable from neutron stars and are still purely hypothetical. I guess a lot of astronomy is hypothetical but quark and gluon stars are a stretch

I think its a stretch that a hundred earthlike planets could ever collide, not even to mention a hundred Earths. I think its part of the fun of Universe Sandbox, making stupidly unlikely or impossible scenarios but seeing how they'd play out or what they'd look like if they somehow came to pass, that and being able to easily design your own star systems and the such. And quark/gluon/etc stars would be distinguishable from neutron stars as they'd be much smaller. And don't get me wrong, I love realism, I usually try to make my star systems as realistic as possible, but I see nothing wrong with a sandbox like this one including very unrealistic or impossible scenarios.
