Hi guys, I met up with some of your developers at Unite in Amsterdam this year and we both had similar questions for Joachim about customising frustum culling within the engine.
Unfortunately I was unable to attend the next day and missed our catch up together with Joachim to discuss this topic.
It would be great to get a PM from one of the devs to discuss what came up during that chat and if there was a solution to disable and or customise the built in culling.
I'd really appreciate it! I am back on my project which had a similar issue to what you guys described.

It's referring to one of Unity3D's methods of skipping objects that lie outside the camera frustum.
