With the ability to edit the materials of an object, I think we should implement atmospheric compositions to the game, and we should be able to edit them...!
Suggested materials would be :
Nitrogen
Oxygen
Hydrogen
Carbon dioxide
Methane
Helium
Argon
The colors of the atmosphere should also change according to the compositions..!! Just like how we get a blue atmosphere from nitrogen and Mars had a red atmosphere from carbon dioxide

There needs to be an atmosphere editor in Universe Sandbox 2
-
That what I said

It's a great idea! We've discussed ways we could implement atmospheric composition, but it's a very complicated issue. It's certainly something we want to do in the future, but it may take a while. :)

How is the atmospheric scattering going? :-\

YES. I've been wanting something like this.
I'd also add chlorine to the list just for that sickly green color. I could make some very sinister-looking planets.
To expand on it, I'd also like to be able to make seas out of different chemicals at different temperatures, such as liquid methane, liquid ammonia, sulfuric acid, etc..

YES!!! THIS GAME NEEDS THIS!

That sounds like a great idea too. That way I could make the entire ocean out of liquid nitrogen and keeping it liquid despite being extremely far away from its host star

Sounds perfect. I really really like this idea and i think that it should be added into the game

this would be great! like make methane oceans like titan and the composition too!
