Actually I was trying to test out a trinary star system and spawned a planet with a moon, eventually the moon turned out to be 2x the size of the earth and has liquid water in its surface.
I tried to recreate the iss missions and added up " Phobos " as the iss and it circled the moon
I did not notice later city lights appeared and I was shocked !
SO when i closed the simulation the entire system changed into something else ( this is because of the beta ) so ? do you have any ideas on how to recreate city lights?

I'm surprised you managed to create a celestial objects with life forms on it, it's rare now and day's and they never really stay the same because the save save setting needs tuning..sorry about that

I know, but the experience was unimaginable

I didn't have trouble creating city lights or life on my planets before Alpha 9 or 10. Back then, you could create a planet with an average temp ranging between 50 and -75 degrees Celsius and still create city lights instantly. Since then I have been having trouble creating the perfect conditions for life to spawn. In fact, I haven't even been able to create life since then at all. Is there some new improvement? Perhaps placing organics? Or leaving time to life to sufficiently evolve?

I dunno I spawned a random planet and it had lights but they faded away when I increased the sea level

I spawned Earth in random solar systems, There's a city light there

Not for long :)

It depends on which version you're running US2 on. They added city lights in alpha 10 or 11.
