Title: [BUG] Bugged Habitable Zones
Post by: Unnamed25 on December 22, 2014, 11:49:00 AM
I was making a new solar system to test my pc on how fast it could get the star system without being innacurate, i placed down altair, and i turned on habitable zones.

Unlike other star´s(like sol and procyon) habitable zones, you have to have Altair selected for the habitable zone, and once it does, its really far away from the star (374 AU to get earth at 14°C)

So i tested it on all the stars, and Sirius, Sirius B, Altair, Algol, Rigel(Im sure 13k AU is a little bit to much even for a massive star), Castor, Regulus, Spica, Vega, and Deneb have this bugged habitable zone that is distinguishable for their huge red zone(hot) and a lack of a blue zone.(Cold)

From what i saw i think its safe to say that the temperature of the star has something to do with it(All of these where white-blue stars, and because even though Altair has a bugged habitable zone, stars like VY Canis Majoris and Betelgeuse do not have these bugged habitable zones)

Right now Imgur is hating me and i dont know where images on the game are found so no imgs, sorry
