No, I remember him saying its free to everyone who bought it in the past. So I guess all you have to do is re-download it and re-enter the product verification.

I just re-downloaded it and started the game under Universe Sandbox logo there stands Premium version, So I dont think I have to re-enter the code.

Also, a recommendation to Dan, the Universe Sandbox 2 setup should have a different name from Universe Sandbox 1, it creates confusion and some people could think they are downloading UniBox 1.
I was able to distinguish it due to the file size.

What's new in 2.0.1.0? I think it wasn't visible in the field when you entered the program, but I'm not sure. Sorry if I just didn't see it.
Edit: The squares have gone away in the system, so at least that bug has been fixed. Nice. :)
Edit: The strange numbers have also gone away when you use sliders and other things. :)
Edit: Oh nose, the squares are back! :'(
Edit: The problem with squares only exists when you double-click an .ubox file, not when you open from within the system.

Yes, unless you pre-orded by paying $29. I'd love to spend the next year developing version 3. And buying version 2 will make version 3 happen. If you like what you see with version 2, I think you like my grand plans for 3.

Hello Dan,
When I bought version 1 full price on Mars 28, it was explained on the web site that I would be entitled for a free v2 upgrade. If that was not the case, I would have waited for another month before purchase. ::)
I think that since it was written on the web site, it is fair that the upgrade has to be free.

Universe Sandbox 2 has 2 flavors (or versions): Free & Premium
Free is available to everyone and lets you open and view all of the included simulations.
Premium gives you all the edit and manipulations controls.
When you download Universe Sandbox 2 it gives you a 60 minute trial of the Premium version after which it returns to the Free version.
