Are you guys planning on adding magnetic fields to objects?

This was discussed some time ago; personally I don't think this will be added for a long time.

I mean, visual effects wouldn't be much of a challenge, but linking them to solar eruptions, atmospheres, auroræ, etc. would be really hard.

Your right, also, another thing they would have to add is it effecting the tilts of planets (for example if 2 planets that are fixed in pose, but not rotation or axis with there northpoles facing each other they would align and link there north and south poles, over a very long time) and another thing : A "show magnetic Field" button in the view tab would also probably need to be implemented.
