Title: [SUGGESTION] Custom Color Stars
Post by: Lord DC on September 29, 2014, 09:59:48 AM
There should be RGB Sliders in the Properties tab that edit the color of a star. This would make custom systems even more awesome. What do you guys think?  8)

I don't think so. Would be confusing astronomy-wise. Maybe changing the colors changed the mass/volume/density like changing those changed the colors.

Yeah, either that, or the "realistic" setting for the star would have to be off.

I wonder when GA will finally add color (realistic) editors.

For Ground:
Rocks (greyish)
Ice (white)
Sand (Yellow/Yellowish Orange)
Mud/Dirt (Brown)
Moon Sand (Dark Grey)

For Ice, Clouds, and Water:
[Insert all colors here]

For Plants:
Red
Green
Blue
Orange
Black
White

I think the original universe sandbox had color editors. I hope they implement that! *hot pink supernova burns eyes out* but really I do hope they add that.

Realistic Coloring: Changes body properties and has color limits
Artistic Coloring: Just a generic color editor
