I have posted this to tell you that some [rage here] person has hijacked my steam account. I cannot launch any of my steam apps, that includes US2, and somehow this [more rage here] person has managed to uninstall steam off of my computer...
Unfortunately, this happened hours after the installation of Alpha 11.2, however this wouldn't have caused the problem. I am currently working hard on the issue and hope to come back with some good news in the coming days.
---------------------------UPDATE (edited)
I don't want to go on about the actual technical things, because its quite a long story. Good news is its not a Hijacker and it was merely a software problem. Interestingly, it was an internet service provider issue, and the ISP help staff and I resolved the problems. (steam support never replied to my damn ticket)

I'm sorry about what happened. :( I feel bad for you. I hope this gets fixed.
-
Damn dude that sucks :(
The only thing you can do is prove that you're the real owner of the account but that's hard to do when its hijacked.
Having a second email or a phone number attached to it helps prove you own it.
Good luck man hope you get your account fixed

have you tried forgot password mate?
-
Don't you mean "hacked"? Or is hijacking accounts a different subject?
-
If i were you, i would contact steam support ASAP, i mean who knows, i heard storys that they recover almost everything..
-
Yes, I am in constant communication with steam support via email. Also, I have not forgot my password. I can prove it is hijacked because the access address is in another part of Australia. Also the error message when opening the steam client says:
Another instance of steam is already running on this computer, UNDER A DIFFERENT USER ACCOUNT... >:(
