Title: [RETEST] Stellar remnants flicker between blue and yellow hues
Post by: Hati Hroovitnisson on August 23, 2014, 08:47:20 PM
I experience a problem with supernovae in that there's a desperately annoying colour flicker when the game renders it. Have to say, the animation in the cloud particles is nice. Looks like compression waves.

I'm seeing this as well. Though it's more of a red vs green hue and it looks a lot like the so called 'z fighting' issue.

After the nebula gets really big, you can see flickering lines and polygons, my guess is some sort of z-fighting problem.

Added the output log, this is the same as the one I sent in the ingame bug report function, though a bit later.

I also found another bug where supernovae that explode inside another supernova remnant don't expand their nova remnants.

And supernova remnants don't expand at high timesteps.
