If you're an alpha tester, run Steam to update to the latest version.
What's new?
Mostly minor fixes and all from today. Most notably we fixed the problem with rings taking a long time to generate and added an option to auto set the graphics settings based on your device specs.

Please don't double post... edit your comment instead.
Run Universe Sandbox ² in Steam... the version number is visible in the lower right corner of the window.
If it's still Alpha 8.2, exit Steam and restart it... it should detect the update and download it right away.

I played Alpha 8.2 still, then alpha 8.3 is queued. How you update it?

-_- Lol. I was going to notify you guys about that.
Anyway, I downloaded the Alpha 8.2 yesterday and compared it to my demo and it had evolved a lot from that. It's quite impressive how much UBox had changed. It looks like a tool that a researcher would use (and works like one too). :D

If your Universe Sandbox is Still 8.2 Be sure you enabled "Automatic updates"

I'm still getting a lot of disappearing mass on collisions :( Still I love how far this has come since alpha 7.

Yeah... collisions are complicated. We're been working on fixing this and other collision related bugs today.

Sometime this year, nobody knows when for sure, but definitely this year. Don't worry, I've got lot's of video planned so you can enjoy ;)

I've been so busy with college I missed all of those updates! I better hurry to see if I can help with something.
edit: Wow, I'm totally impressed with this new version! It must take LOTS of work to get things working properly and fixing the zillion things that have to be fixed/worked on.
However, I'm starting to think that the game is starting to get a little too...confusing. Well, I should get used to it.
