Is there a reason for it to be frozen? For example, is there no heat present in the simulation?

If there is heat it turns to a Planet Oceania..... (Planet only with water)

well of course, if you heat ice it turns into water, hence making an ocean planet.

Of-course there is ice and water, the clouds of Venus exist partly of water vapor. So if its -200 degrees or 15 degrees. the water vapor condenses.

We're still working on how to display water on bodies. Right now, any water is seen as surface water, and therefore, a very small amount can cover the exterior of a body.

The plan is to adjust the visual water level to account for water that is in the core, or crust of the planet, instead of only on the surface.

This will hopefully be fixed in the next Alpha.
