Title: Alpha 5 Screenshots
Post by: gabriel.dac on March 08, 2014, 08:35:03 AM
Why not a thread just for this version? Just to make things more simple.

I think that Saturn's orbit is a little too out of the ecliptic plane. I'm pretty sure that's not right.

1: Press Print Screen (Prt Sc) on your keyboard
2: Open an image editor program, like Paint
3: Press Ctrl + V to paste the screenshot into the program
4: Save the image file by pressing Ctrl + S
5: You can then attach the image to your post on the forum here or upload it to an image site like
http://imgdiode.com/ (http://imgdiode.com/)

Does this work for you?

There are also some free screenshot programs, like Greenshot, if you prefer simpler methods for saving screenshots than manually pasting them into an image editor:

The shadows of objects on earth are somewhat bugged...

This is in a new system where I spawned Earth and made a Mars orbit it.
It also happenned to me in Earth and moon simulation.

There are built in screenshot tools:

Just press F12 for a clean screenshot.
Or Ctrl+F12 to take a screenshot with UI.

Then hover over the camera icon in the top right and select "Show last in folder" to open the folder where these screenshots are saved.
