Title: blob map game

where there are no zones.

the attached blank map is 1024 by 1024 blank canvas.

rounds last 3 days and there is no turn order, inactivity, or anything like that. it just starts every 36 hours from the last.

we'll use the hsv color format, which is available in paint.net
each player picks a hue from 0 to 360 that's not to similar to another. i'll be playing as 192
a saturation level of 20k is the kth level of development.
for example, a saturation value of 100 would be the 5th level of development.
value is always 100

level 0 is unclaimed
level 1 through 5 is claimed with different levels if development

level n land takes 1+n resources to claim
level n land takes 2n resources to develop to the next level if it is claimed by you
level n land gives n/12 resources per turn
claiming land decreases it's level of development by 1

you can claim pixels in any bloblike shape, but to prevent any snakes from forming, please use at least a size 25 brush in paint.net. if you don't want to use the brush, keep in mind that whatever you claim must still be connected when 12 pixels are removed from all sides.

use only non anti aliased brushes and pixels

income is fairly easy to compute because magic wand tool gives pixel count in paint.net. python can also read and count pixels pretty easily.

everyone's base income is 512
resources can be accumulated with no loss
