I'm nearly certain that Dan has said before that all alpha testers will get a free copy of the final version!

Yes, Darvince is correct.  If you've entered an Alpha code, then Steam will automatically download all updates, including the Beta versions and the final version.

Not really a "new game" depends on your definition. The "new game" will have new features and less bugs (hopefully).

It will be an update for Alpha testers, an update for Beta testers who had to buy it, and a new game for the full release.

anyways, Dan already said that the Alpha testers would get it free and the Beta testers would have to buy it and get the full version free.
