Title: Update procedure question

I have been stuck at version 2.1.3 for a number of months.  I honestly dont know when the following update was released, but somehow, my software will not update.  Would it be possible for me to download the newest version and install over my old version?  I bought the software sometime last year, I think.  Id prefer not to lose my premium privileges.  Please let me know if I can do this or if you have any other ideas or suggestions.
