Title: Simulated Space stations and shuttles. You Tube video

I was playing with US and made a fictional scenario around Jupiter.
I added space stations and ships flying across the Jupiter system. 
This was all simulated with only titles and approximate sizes of craft , but this gave me an idea.

Would it be possible to add some sort of fly-to-location feature or way point system for a flying body in a future release of US?
Example after pressing F to launch a created object you could press another key to give it a designated target to fly to. All the speed adjustments could be done with the current menu by right clicking.

Adding some small features could expand this amazing simulator into another universe of ideas ;)

This would be great for making fictional spacecraft scenarios.

These are great; a solid demonstration. Thank you so much for making them.

I think you're going to like version 2 of Universe Sandbox, it makes many of the things you do in the video much easier.

And your Mars video clearly shows why blowing up an asteroid is a bad idea.

The feature list for version 2 is locked down, but it's a really great idea. I do want to work on a feature like you describe.

Star Shaped Galaxies - This came out completely by accident but its a really neat effect.

To re-create this

1. Load milky way and andromeda collision scenario.
2. Pause sim, if not already paused.
3. Make both galaxies Explode into 14 pieces , set speed of explode to 1-2 light years.
4. Unpause/speed up, and the pieces will shoot out taking some of the debris with them and leaving a star shape.
5. CTRL T to remove trails left by debris.
