We're going to release Beta 2 in the next few days.

This version will include a new auto updater tool that we will be testing with a follow up release (Beta 3) before the end of the year.

Included in Beta 2:
- Stars that look like stars, they now glow.
- In progress light mode features toggle-able lights
- Support for Galactic Coordinates (in XML files)
- All 110 Messier objects plotted (just points, no art) | http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Messier_object
- Chart mode toggle between proportional space or line up mode
- Multi-select of planets (using keyboard key, not yet added to visible UI yet)
- Simple undo for moving planets (Ctrl+Z)
- New updater code
- Fixed crash that occurred when changing the color mode
- And more...

(where the 1st Beta release, Beta 518, should have been called Beta 1)

I'm sorry everyone... I've been working hard to get Beta 2 ready. I was hoping to release today, but the new web browser still have some bugs (you can't get to the open system list) and I haven't finished the UI for the new features like multi-select (they're still keyboard based).

Here's my new promise:
I will release Beta 2 by midnight of January 6th (Pacific time).

I'm working on it right now, but I'm having some problems getting the new updater working correctly.

Give me about 30 more minutes and I'll post a link here to what I've got (we'll call it beta 1.5). I'll release the fixed beta 2 (with the updater) in the next few days (and everyone will get an email when that goes out).

Just extract into a new folder. Don't try and merge this with the 1st beta version.

This version includes new browser tech behind the scenes, which should make the menu and help system much faster. Press ESC to show the menu.

I will release Beta 2 with a number of small fixes and the new updating system very soon.

Please let me know if this is working for you.

And for those following the build numbers this is 547 (where Beta 1 was 518).
