Photons do not have specific types. There is no gamma photon, ultraviolet photon etc. If a photon passes through or off matter, it can change, it will always be the same particle be it ultraviolet, visible, or infrared. You could have also worded it wrong.

I agree, it just changes amplitude and frequency!

I think I didn't get your point...
Gamma, X, Radio, ... , rays are just classification that we give to light.
The difference is only in the frequency at which photons oscillate (light can be considered also as a wave).

yer its set in nm or 1000th's of a millimeter eg how many nm does it take before the wave is completed
for eg pure green light takes 535nm to complete a wave IR 808nm to 1000 odd UV i think its 400nm Xray i think its 200 or so

I prefer speaking of waves instead of single particles.

According to Wikipedia, photons act as waves when they have longer wavelengths than visible light and as particles when they have shorter wavelengths than visible light. Personally, I'm very bad at thinking of waves in physics (I can only think of particles moving in paths which are shaped as waves, nothing else really). So every time someone starts talking about waves I panic.

Please quote the words. It is wrong... Light is a wave and it's composed by photons always, not in particular conditions. So every time someone starts talking about waves I panic. Well you aren't the only one. It was a great problem till the XIX century (not sure)

This is how I think of photons. I think they aren't light, they create it. Light is something else. Not a particle, not a wave. I think the photons vibrate in a wave motion, and their motion creates the color, sending off light. That's my hypothesis.
The Hypothesis of Light Is Not A Partice Or A Wave, But That Photons Vibrate To Make It; Article I

I couldn't find it again, but perhaps it could be somewhere in this article. I don't have time to look for it right now, sorry. But NeutronStar, what evidence suggests that photons are not light themselves, but that they create light? What should that light be, then? Another particle-wave-thing? And what would it be like? I'm pretty sure we know many things about photons. Their wavelength sets the color/frequency, and the photon itself is light. We know energy cannot be created or destroyed, so if the photon creates light, it must reduce it's own energy/increase it's wavelength/etc... I think.

Quite correct.
Photons are light. The cells into our eyes are hit by photons, transform them into electricity (electrons) and send the signal to the brain that interprets it.
But the photons are waves. In fact light have many phenomena typical of waves.

Will photons can be in end of our universe in 100000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000 googol years. Dark eras.

the only thing i don't get is a wave is movement of something often and increase then decrease in volume of something so if it is a wave
what is it moving or increasing and decreasing to be that said wave in light

Nothing increases
The photons oscillate perpendicularly to the movement just like in the picture below:

But the waves are just the paths which the particles are moving in, aren't they?

More or less yes. They follow an ondulatory path.

Compare it to the behaviour water and makes much more sense. Even the interaction of em waves with atoms could be vaguely visualized by a water like model. Just imagine atoms and molecules as boat like strucutures connected with thin cords swimming in a box full of water. But as soon as you create strong waves the cords will beginn to break and the boats will all swim apart.
But as I say I just did put up this comparison in order to help you understanding em waves, fields and structures.
