I know the milky ways a barred spiral, but what type of barred spiral? Does it have a normal sized bars, with four arms beginning at the bar, or is it an extreme, with a massive bar than has only two arms?
I'm really confused.

I say. edge on galaxies are the way to have the same shape of our Milky Way.
