i think can be a graphic options in "settings" of universe sandbox

Like:

-resolution change
-color depth
-texture detail
-projectiles,dust,impact marks,rings detail
-shadow detail

You  can change the resolution by dragging the edges of the US window.

Other than that yes options like that would be nice.

I'm planning to completely revise the settings screen and view options.

I'll likely also add support for specifying your resolution.
