Finished! Yay! Lots of Conversion...

Stars with largest and smallest:

Eta Carinae
VV Cephei A
VY Canis Majoris

(a few others that I'm to lazy to figure out, but I'll give a description...  Tongue)

So here you have it...

Details:

This system shows 65 or the largest know stars, and the Sun. It is a jumble system, as it helps to compare some stars, but others... not. Many are variables, denoted with one or two letters in the front, some I averaged, others have a largest and smallest. The ones usually with largest and smallest can totally drop it in postion, and totally are vary very much. (lol) Tongue

Great job! I might download it later today. Smiley
Btw I thought VY Canis Majoris was the largest known star? Anyways, I don't even think astronomers are so secure about the sizes of these hypergiant-stars.

It is. Why do you say that? Is it the "star with argest and smallest"? That means stars that I put a large and small size into.

I just used google calculator. US says the sun is 1.3(9?) M km, and I multiplied that by what wikipedia says.

My result was 25.5 AU.

And it is.

The km is 3,060,500,000 km.

Canis Majoranis is more like a baloon.
The outer layers have a density almost like vacuum.

Eta Carinae is not as "big" as Canis Majoranis, but Eta Carinae is minimum mass of 110 sun masses.

Eta Carina is much heavier and much more powerful than Canis Majoranis.

yes it is cheating. Grin

Canis Majoranis has 30-40 masses of the sun.

Eta Carinae is hundred times less the diameter of Canis Majoranis but has 100-120 sun masses.

Canis Majoranis is just inflated.

As an advanced civilization, it is our job to destroy such evil cheating stars. We need to ensure that only the most massive stars remain the largest.

I would like to sign a treaty with you about forbidding the star to grow any larger. In the treaty I have also written that the star has to decrease it's size by 50% over the next two years.

We just can't allow these stars in our universe. We just can't. Sad
