...you try to explain to your salsa teacher who just used an earth-moon analogy to describe a dancing move in which your partner moves around you while at the same time spins around herself, that the moon is tidal locked to the earth and that would mean that your dancing partner would have to constantly face you as she rotates...

Ok to be honest I did not do this, but I thought about it while dancing. Its alarming enough...and embarrassing...
