It might be just me, but the site has gone down twice in the past hour or so.

"[15:28] <matty406> Are the forums down?"

anyone else with this problem? it might also be related to smjjame's server thingy problemy.

I've been having forum problems in the past few weeks of the forums occasionally being down, just didn't bother to post about it for some reason. A few times the US site went inaccessable, but most of the time it is fine.

Could someone induce a crash in their US to see if the crash logging server (is that what it's called? Or wherever it gets sent to) is down? And no I'm not asking anybody to sabotage whatever they are working on.

I hadn't noticed this. Is this still a problem?

Thanks for mentioning it.

We did get a bit of new info in the creator interview he did early this month, mainly improved and more realistic collisions and something about atmospheres. Thats what I managed to get out of that anyway.

Still, it would be cool to have some screenshots of the new features.

The forums were having issues a minute ago, possibly server related.

Yea, the forum had a downtime a few minutes ago for me, the site seemed okay although it took a bit to load. Forum was back up by the time I went through the forum link on the main page.

Yes, also said something about the server.

Also, lost a bunch of progress on my accretion sim due to me being focused on an absolute space point which the program deletes and caused the sim screen to go black and otherwise bug out, GAH! ><

I think I'll do the part that I was doing and do it differently though. This is actually another iteration because my previous one lost alot of time due to me having to rollback due to a  virus attack that sunk root kits deep in and AVG was having trouble clearing it out. The virus thing was random, I don't think the site had anything to do with it, anyways, that got fixed. Besides, I had made the mistake of using smaller objects than I should have used, which ended up in having too many objects in the 100-800 km range and objects were piling up. I'm a couple years into the sim already.
