Before they died they pressed the button, the button that would release the ship's secrets... Inside were... Detailed instructions on how to make Gamma radiators, Nuclear Fusion Labs, Spaceships that can travel faster then light, or the horror.. Or the dominance. The info about the aliens:
Aliens were dyeing out as the great war Ravaged the ΘΘD06lŁ║ŃZÜë, Or in our terms, the Milky Way. The ark that crashed into earth was assigned to find intelligent species dawning on the space age as a last hope to destroy the ╤┘↕ćT-, or in human terms, the Heliovoch. The power the beings held was enormous. and only a very headstrong race could defeat them.. The Homo Sapiens. It crashed in eastern Canada sparking a war to get it. Every country on Earth wanted that.. And then that's how the United States Of Aeridani formed.

..Actually, it has nothing to do with that, The United States turned communist and attacked Canada, but then newly sprouted country Aeridani intervened and got Eastern Canada. Meanwhile Alaska and the remains of Canada formed the Republic of Columbusia and has high tensions with the United Socialist States of America. Meanwhile, the European Union tried to get a hold of Central America, but later made buffer states for the South American Union. As the Yucatan declared independence one again, Mexico tried to attack Socialist America, blaming them for their instability. However, both sides lost and gained some land from eachother.
Socialist America wanted to test its new weapons to use against its rival, and they started to test in the Great Lakes underground secretly in Aeridani territory. However, it failed and a large portion of Northern Michigan sank, starting a nuclear alert around the region, and throwing themselves into a war with the new country USAE...
..Which was a horrible idea. You see, while they were all fighting and on, the USAE scientists were researching the Alien Tech in their labs. That made the USAE a Superpower. they could fly a hoverjet around Mach 52 without burning up. Laser pulsers and mechanical Bio-Walkers made the USAE look like aliens. The Made a paper called the E.T. Paper; there was peace, they would release everything. The pressure of Japan, China, Iran, Mexico, Russia, UK, France, it all rested on the U.S. Shoulders.
The U.S. Accepted.Earth Prospered.But one mission was left.Colonize the other balls of rock.And become prosperous.But you must destroy the HeliovochOr die trying.Colony War
