Nothing wrong with enthusiasm, but reading this thread reminds me of driving my sisters' kids to see grandma: "Are we there yet? Are we there yet?".
Also the general tone appears demanding, which to me, appears just rude.
Dan has provided an excellent (also addictive
) software for us to play with, but I don't see anywhere on his site that he's promised us any new versions for free - only that by buying his software we're encouraging further development. That does not mean he is compelled to provide us any updates for free and certainly not that we have any rights to demand one.
Besides, it has been only, what? ~4 months since last release? Is that version so broken it is not usable?
Look, if you really want an update with some definite features and feel you have the right to demand for it, better prepare to cough up the dough too - no-one has to (or likes to) work for free and many have families to feed too.
For the record, I'm also eager to see what the new version will bring, but I trust Dan will release more info when he's ready to do so and not before, no matter how much we bitch and moan. Although, Dan seems to be the kind of guy who is enthusiastic to show his work to others, so it probably won't be long when we see something new.
