Hi,

two things I thought of.

Simulation Speed:
Time up US is indispensable. But the characteristic that US become inaccurately is a bit pity.
No thats not the wohle true. It makes me pity that I don't know wenn it become inaccurately.
So can I say everything over "autotimestep" will go inaccurately or is there still room for more speed?
Or I wonder if in some Situations "autotimestep" is or can be inaccurately.
Maybe there is a way to give a feedback to the user when simulation turns inaccurately.

Combine:
Not sure if I read this here.
I like the combining feature, but its a little (can I say) superficial.
It may work for small planets but also there is no need that a contact results in one body.
Its a question on how big the subcover an the energie of the bodys was.
Depending on this the flight path of both or now maybe more objects change in several directions.
Bigger Planets an Stars may also explode.
For me this interactions are really important and my hope on this is still strong.

Ok that are my two top questions (Ideas) so far. Smiley

btw.: how can I create a galaxy?

thanks

The only way to put galaxies at the moment is to copy and paste from the pre- defined .xml files to create your own xml.

And as far as the collisions go....read this thread.

I've been thinking about that myself over the last few weeks. It's a very practical suggestion. I'm thinking about a green, yellow, red indicator to show how inaccurate the system is.

Totally... It's superficial. Smiley
I hope to at least partially address this with an update in the next few weeks.

Hi Dan,
I think I understand this Problem. The level of inaccurately to tell is hard to find and its also specific to the computer I use thought. The indicator can give a helping hand to find the middle. I like your solution. Smiley
So I don't  want to hinder you longer  Wink and thanks for the answer.

have fun
