Sorry for unleashing rapid change with no warning. I knew the Steam release was upcoming, but I had no idea the traffic would be so massive.

The initial spike of traffic is over. It will be interesting to see what happens after the storm has calmed. I hope you're doing okay Darvince.

Being a new user (yes i got it from steam)
I guess i can sympathize.
but the addition of the software on steam can only be a good thing.
I didn't even know it existed until i seen it on steam (if I'd known about it sooner I'd have got it a long time ago)
more users means more cash for development of the next version.

we've all been there tho. there's something we really like and we are in a minority of people who like it.
then it goes mainstream and we don't feel so exclusive anymore. it shouldn't make us like the thing any less
(unfortunately that's not always the case).

I'm guessing the people with only a passing interest will fall by the wayside and the forum will be left with some new real fans of the software, bringing new ideas and knowledge to the table.

The way I think of it is:

More people = More Money = More development + More people wanting similar ideas = The good ideas
