Running in place Feel like you're losing your faith Feel like you're fading away Without a voice to break the chain
Don't you get played Don't you let them hand you you're fate Don't you know the world is you're stage So what you got to say
Let me hear you sound off Let them know how you feel If the anger inside is real Sound off, long before the bridges are burned The powers to be are going to hear your words
Have you been heard Have you been walking around this world misunderstood Have you been heard You got to take back what you know is yours Let me hear you sound off
Searching for truth You know when someone's lying to you We all know how it feels to be used Do they take us all for fools
They break they're own rules The hypocrites are leading us through Do what they say and nod as they do Or do we have a right to choose
Let me hear you sound off Let them know how you feel If the anger inside is real Sound off, long before the bridges are burned The powers to be are going to hear your words
Have you been heard Have you been walking around this world misunderstood Have you been heard You got to take back what you know is yours Let me hear, Let me hear, Let me hear you sound off
I hope you get the message loud and clear We will never disappear We will ask the questions you fear It's the only thing you'll hear
Sound off let them know how you feel If the anger inside is real Sound off, long before the bridges are burned The powers to be are going to hear your words
Have you been heard Have you been walking around this world misunderstood Have you been heard You got to take back what you know is yours Let me hear you sound off
Sound Off - Trapt It's about our government and stuff. Can be applied to other situations as well.

Freeze off, I don't envy your seats, At least don't break until we descend To peace talks, Full of remorse, But the keeper tends to remain aloof I think this part is saying that the author doesn't want to be in their position. They also don't want to have to resort to lame peace talks. The corporations don't care. They know what we'll lose They know what they'll lose Such unspeakable room, Now that, what will we do? Here, the guitar gets faster, and slightly harder. The author is talking about how the corporations are ruining they Earth, and they realize it themselves. They don't care at all, and they are smug, greedy people. Liasions Falling in tall, This blinding forest won't bloody unfold, Don't belong, this has to be told, We weave our mazes, be in debt to the Earth. This tells the main part of the song. The corporations don't want people to know what they are doining, and the artist is telling people, "be in debt to the Earth". And they know what we'll lose, They know what they'll lose, Such unspeakable room, Now that, what will we do? The chorus again. But with gratitude and fortitude, We granted your enlightment, The panic of this solitude is calling out until, With gratitude and fortitude, We credit your enlightment, The panic of this solitude is calling out. The artist is speaking for people saying, we realize you are rich, but frankly, we don't care. The riff gets a bit harder here, blending into the more angry part. Just get 'em all Pick 'em off Just get 'em all Pick 'em off, just. Here the artist unleashes his anger. He's telling how he hates these corps, and to just "get them all". With gratitude and fortitude, We granted your enlightment, The panic of this solitude is calling out until, With gratitude and fortitude, We credit you x5 By now, the artist is screaming the lyrics. Apparently angry. He has feelings about this subject. They know what we'll lose, They know what they'll lose, Such unspeakable room, What will we do? Just get 'em all Pick 'em off. Just. (x4) The song is supposedly about big corporations destroying Earth... "In Debt to Earth" - Chevelle The song starts off sorrowful, and slow. The song gradually grows into an angry sounding, hard riff that shows alot of the hatred for these corporations, telling people to just "Get them all"

Okay, read the lyrics form this new release by Rise Against, and see if you can figure out EXACTLY what they are talking about (it should be EASY) First person wins... a free... image of something random I have my mother’s dreams, I have my father’s eyes, You can’t take that from me, Just go ahead and try. The cursed city sleeps, Watch ions in the sky, Preparing to unleash, Let loose a mighty cry.
Can nobody save us? Will anyone try? The pyre is burning, The severance is dying. And all along they say it.
Help is on the way (They said, they said) Help is on the way (They said, they said) Hold my hand to help see. Right there in front of me. Help is on the way.
Five thousand feet below, As black smoke engulfs the sky, The ocean floor explodes, Eleven mothers cry. My bones all resonate, A burning lullaby, You can’t take that from me, Just go ahead and try.
She says that’s the shoreline, With hands in the air, Her words miss the dark light, Does anyone care? And all along they say it.
Help is on the way (They said, they said) Help is on the way
(They said, they said) Hold my hand, to help see. Right there in front of me. Help is on the way.
Right here! Right here! [x3]
Choking on the black gold, Upon which we rely, We keep actions in the attics, To see cameras in the sky.
Help is on the way (They said, they said) Help is on the way (They said, they said)
We were told just to sit tight, Cause somebody will soon arrive. Help is on the way. But it never came! It never came!
Help is on the way (They said, they said) Help is on the way (They said, they said) Hold my hand, to help see. Right there in front of me. Help is on the way. On the way.

I don't like the meaning of that song. It's just... how do I say this? Dumb? Stupid? 馬鹿的? Mean? Rude? Hard to agree AND disagree with? I guess the last one is true...

Deoxy, you just don't have feelings for other people. You know that? If someone says that to you, you go all crazy mad. And then you think you have the right to call someone else's thing dumb?
I'm just saying. I don't really care that you're putting my song interpretation down. It's just the fact that you don't let other people criticize you the same way you criticize them..

No, I'm not putting your song interpretation down. I'm putting the song itself down.

You can't really put a song down if you didn't listen to it. You might still like the sound.

You cannot deny that this is epic win, whether you agree with the ideology or not.
It sounds epically awesomely beautiful. :') I think I've listened to it for an hour now. What is this... An INSTRUMENTAL! It's not full length. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:USSR_Russia_Anthem_instr.oggLonger instrumental. http://bit.ly/r2dNEhThis one's better:

Anyone ever hear Pork And Beans by Weezer? It's a comment on trends and that's why I like it.

This wasn't meant to be for good music, it was kind of meant to be for music that you find meaningful (aka in the lyrics or something) but the last few posts have been, so w/e. Or maybe I don't get the Japanese ones, cause I don't even listen to them, but w/e. lol

I love the song even in Japanese:
It's called "Thrilling, is this love?"

This Soviet March from Red Alert 3 is also very good imo. I found a site with Soviet music, but most of it wasn't anywhere near as awesome as the anthem, sadly. I really liked the instrumental:
Here's the other version with lyrics:
