-I can assume this is just because the program or my computer can't take it. If there is any way to make the program work better...I'm all ears.


and another problem---it's kinda hard to explain  ...whenever i create a planet, comet, or moon their isn't any physical features that are distinct on any of them...All they are is a "sphere of stars"...it sorta looks like the background of stars has copied and placed itself on the star in place of the original look or texture...for example, when i make Jupiter, it doesn't look like Jupiter  . It looks like a "sphere of stars"...it's really weird. Maybe I can show/send a custom system I make to someone?

You could send a screenshot. Just hit the Prt Scr key on your keyboard, paste it into Paint, and upload the file here under "Additional Options..." above the Post button.

Anyways...
The crash can occur at times as it says on the bottom (i.e. large timestep, mass, etc.). I don't really know why it happens if not related to it, but it is probably because of what you said.
Make sure you have these:

Download size         32 MB
Requires         Windows XP, Vista, or Windows 7
Prerequisites         .NET and Direct X
The screwed up planet features has been a problem with an another user... so I think it should be fixed in the next version.

I already helped rcrcrean13 via email, but for others:

This is a problem with the new lighting system. Press Ctrl+L to toggle back to the old version. I believe this will be fixed in the next update.


Regarding the other error...

I've identified a pretty major bug that's why this message is triggered. If you're dealing with crazy huge values, you'll still get this, but you should see this error message less in the next release.
