I declare myself a forumologist. I am trying to get statistics about the forum, how it works, to help predict activity of the forum for the better of science and for helping us know when to get on more or not. lol

Okay so I have a simple scale, which is made for our forum.

< 10 - Extremely Dead
10 - 24 - Dead
25 - 49 - Active
50 - 100 - Overactive
>100 - Hyperactive

August was active.

Based on 30 day months...
< 300 - Extremely dead
300 - 774 - Dead
775 - 1499 - Active
1500 - 3000 - Overactive
>3000 - Hyperactive

 lol ikr!

September is 3 posts from Overactivity.
2 posts into overactivity.

September overall prediction: 1500 - 2200 posts (lower end of overactivity)

Based on current activity...

06 - 60
07 - 58
08 - 75
09 - 66
10 - 45

The days ahead could bring this.

Based on current activity - also - (count weekends) -
06 - 102
07 - 38
08 - 46
09 - 31
10 - 56
11 - 81
12 - 76
13 - 29
14 - 41
15 - 30
16 - 55

Since posting can be erratic, I'd say make it a bar chart when this month or whenever you make your next chart is done.

As this month comes to a close, let's make the chart of September tomorrow or on the weekend.

1 - 29
2 - 29
3 - 49
4 - 73
5 - 76
6 - 28
7 - 12
8 - 11
9 - 8
10 - 6
11 - 21
12 - 100
13 - 19
14 - 7
15 - 3
16 - 10
17 - 24
18 - 34
19 - 9
20 - 10
21 - 14
22 - 24
23 - 59
24 - 28
25 - 21
26 - 78
27 - 77
28 - 15
29 - 24
30 - 29

I see that there tried to be a dead period, but a hyperactive day prevented it.

This month was overall less active than the second part of August.

Your scale is not correct.
This is the corrected scale:

< 300 - Extremely dead
300 - 720 - Dead
721 - 1470 - Active
1471 - 3000 - Overactive
> 3000 - Hyperactive

Dead means dead. Zilch. Nothing at all. So here is your fixed scale...
0 - Dead
1 - 49 - Active
50 - 100 - Overactive
>100 - Hyperactive
