Suggestion: "Create Random Earthlike Planet"
« on: January 25, 2018, 04:41:40 PM »
Quite recently, as of fiddling about with the features of Universe Sandbox, I stumbled upon an idea I thought may be of benefit to the program. That of which I thought concerns creating a "Random Earth-like Planet."

All are likely aware of one's ability to, using the "Add" menu, create a random rocky planet or a random gas giant- I should like for there to be an option of adding a "Random Earth-like Planet", which would create a planet with properties similar to those of earth; for example, harboring an predefined atmosphere, alongside a particular amount of water.

Dreadful terraformers, such as I, would likely find this feature to be very helpful when creating habitable planets. Be it possible, I should love to see it in Universe Sandbox².

Thank you for your time, and may the best of regards be to you. Assure that you offer feedback as you reply.

I would like the Universe Sandbox 2 team to create and add a prehistoric Earth during the last Ice Age during 20,000 years ago when the sea level was much lower than today. A prehistoric Earth would involve some landmasses being joined together by land. An example of that would be to have England, Ireland and France as a continent, Indonesia as a continental landmass and Australia and New Guinea both joined together by land as it was 20,000 years ago during the Northern Hemisphere Ice Age.
