Uh, I am scared. Wtf happened to it? It looks cool, scary, and weird. Those icons are part of the UI.
Edit by Dan: Changed the subject.

That's kind of awesome.
I've seen that happen before. You haven't messed anything up.
Just restart Universe Sandbox and the problem should go away.

I love looking at icons in a formation like that.

Inside of Universe Sandbox textures are references as numbers: 1, 2, 3, 4
For example (just making up these numbers, they depend on the order the textures are loaded): That earth texture is number 23. Jupiter is 21. The Milky Way galaxy background is made from 2 square textures, numbers 10 and 11. And the UI textures are made of 3 different textures: 1, 5, & 6.
Somehow the background texture got mixed up with the UI textures and is displayed on the spherical background object. That's what happened here.

The textures are in the 'graphics folder': ui-elements.dds ui-icons.dds ui-logos.dds
Just copy them to your Media folder (Documents/Universe Sandbox/Media) to use them.

Yay! I just bought US2, now I will try the thingy.
Dan, where do I get my code?
Edit: nevermind, I found it!
Btw, I put the wrong e-mail address in US2, so I hope you don't send to that one.
