Is the number of ressources divided by 2? I think the beginning says that I can spend 48 ressources, but I could spend 24. Are the other half of the resources invisible resources?

No. The formula is:
a = 5 + b + c + d / 5
a = your ressources this turn
b = your production
c - your saved ressources
d = the total production of the nations you're trading with
What you might be confusing is the number of zones you have and your production. Zones don't give you any ressources by themselves, but only the production does. Every time you take a new land zone or build an extractor, your production is increased by one.
You have 28 zones, but only 22 production, and you currently have 4 saved ressources and don't trade with anyone. So, assuming no-one declares war on your nation and conquers any of your zones, in your next turn you'll be able to spend:
a = 5 + 22 + 4 + 0 / 5 = 31 ressources.

Comment... GRRRRD!!!  Okay, I've considered a new feature, politics. You can choose your strategy and the way you rule your country (in case of democracy, it turns out it always ends up being you who's elected, and in anarchy, it turns out you're always the one who has your decisions approved). I'll balance them and add more types, and maybe add ideologies too. But what do you think about it?: Politics:You can choose how your politics should be. The government type you choose will give your nation a bonus. You can choose your initial government types when you join the game for the first time. The available government types are: StrategyMilitarist: Makes it cost one ressource less to conquer an enemy zone. Isolationist: Makes it cost one more ressource for an enemy to conquer one of your zones. Constructionist: Decreases the cost of extractors to 2, military bases to 3 and sea bases to 3 ressources. Bankist: Provides an interest of 5% on the ressoures you've stored from previous turns. RuleDemocracy: You can change your politics every 5 rounds (round 5, 10, 15 etc. Not 6 if you decide to skip 5, then you must wait until round 10). Dictatorship: You can change your politics whenever you want, but reduces your income from trade by 25%. Anarchy: You can change your politics 3 turns after you've stated the change you want in your turn. |
