Sorry Naru523, but you can't move across the sea in this game. I'm considering making game 2 that way, but you can't do it in this game. Please redo your turn.

But there's (currently) no way to know what zone Naru523's zone would border on the western side of the planet... That's why I made it one big continent, to make it easy to know what zones you could take from your current position. Naru523's attack doesn't follow any simple recognizeable system that is described in the rules, so until the next game begins, we can't attack across the sea. I hope you understand.

To trade you don't need to use the zones, you only need to see what zones border the water you border yourself. But being able to attack ALL zones that border the sea would be too much I think, so I might cut the seas into sea regions in game 2 if we're going to wage wars on the oceans. They will be larger than the zones however, so controlling one sea region means being able to attack a big number of zones.

Right now, it doesn't matter the least what zones you attack (except for the small strategic advantage of wiping out the enemy coastline so it can't trade, or gaining coastline with someone you want to trade with). So in that sense, the game needs more strategy. In game 2, I might add the ability to reinforce some or all zones, so you can "stack" armies on them, like the enemy having to use 4 zone points to conquer it instead of 2. But it might be a good idea if I added some ressources to the zones and made them different, so they wouldn't just be all the same.

I have the perfect idea.

Using the formula we have, you get those zone points. You can place the zone points on existing spaces (to make it harder to get), get new zones, or use them to fight against another nation.

That was also my idea. To make it worth developing defense in zones, rather than just spending all zone points on taking enemy zones, I think this would be a good idea:
You spend 1 "zone point" on reinforcing the zone that would normally require 2 zone points to take. Now the zone requires 5 zone points to take.

Oh well. I'm gonna be neutral like Italy did in World War One..
So you're exiting NeutronStar's, Deoxy99's and matty406's alliance? Or do you support the war? Grin
If you exit it, we can sign a peace treaty for... Let's say 5 turns? Tongue
It's your choise. Tongue

Why not just one more for every zone point you spend to reinforce it?

And hello dog country!

Hmm, you could only claim the white zone, as you need to be able to claim 2 zones before you can take an enemy zone... But I'm considering changing the rule for small nations, so they only need to use one zone point to claim an enemy zone if they only have one zone point.
To me, it's okay that you took the zone, and I guess it's okay with the rest of the leaders too, so... If no one speaks against it, you can keep the zone.

What do you [all] think about that rule?

If nobody complains, it's Naru523's turn. He may claim 2 zones or one enemy zone.

If he confirms that he trades with you, the trade can begin from the next round. But when none of you have stated that you traded in this topic, it can't apply to the last round, sorry.
Taking the enemy zone was against the current rules, but I can accept it if you can.

I can't find it. You can quote him. I can only find him accepting an alliance.

I am done with this game...
Do you want your nation to be inactive or leave it completely so it joins the rebels?

My turn is uploaded below, so now it's matty406's turn, he may claim 4 zones/2 enemy zones.

idk... If I can give my country to matty, then... I will not play if I can then I propose trading with deoxy.

Or in Perl:
$descision = ?[no idea what to put here lol];
if ($descision eq no giving countries);
      {
       print "Then I trade with deoxy";
      }
      else
      {
       print "I give my country to matty";
       }

Hmm, Da Rulez don't say that you can give your nation to another player. I've considered that earlier... I think it would be okay to hand over your nation, but if you do, you can't make a new nation before the game is over/a new game starts.
Does that system sound fair?

Good, now it's Deoxy99's turn. He can take one of my zones this time.
But I'd recommend that you accept NeutronStar's trading treaty, it will currently increase the number of zone points you get pr. turn by 0.72.
