The current layout is rather haphazard and accidental. I want to fix that for version 2.

I'd love for someone to take a pass at a new plan for the keyboard shortcuts.

Currently W & S are zoom, but does that really make sense?
Currently Ctrl+C toggles the 3D mode, but while it's not supported yet, I want to reserve Ctrl+C for a Cut command as well as the standard shortcuts for Copy, Paste, and Undo, Open, Save, etc...

Thoughts or ideas?

Ctrl+Shift+C could work for 3D mode.

I didn't see the plus and minus keys on the numpad doing anything, so maybe they could be used for zooming (too)? Or maybe for changing the timestep. I think I was able to change the timestep using them when I first got the program, in the trial I think.

don´´t forget the Y and Z problem. You remember i told you, that when you use a german keybord and press z you get an y and when you press y you get an z.

Yes, I changed my layout on the keyboard to German, and the Y is Z and Z is Y.
