Could you make it to lock on an object from another planet or object?

Look from a planet to another one locked on so you don't have to pan around. Then zoom in like you are weiwng it through a telescope? E.g. you want to see how saturn's moons look right now. YOu lock on to veiw from Earth. You them lock on Saturn. You zoom in till you see the moons. You play the sim till it gets to the right time. Not real brightness, just show where the objects are so (when you look through your telescope you have a rough idea of what you are looking at) You don't have to use it for that reason.

That's a very good suggestion, that one might expect would already exist. I've added it to the list, but no promises on when it will be implemented.
