Just run your installed copy of Beta 2 or 3 to update.

Please let me know if you have any trouble.

What's New in Beta 4?
- Bounce mode fixed!
- Create rings with the new interface
- Textbox enhancements: arrows and presets
- New screenshots controls
- New camera orbit controls
- Change rotational period with new UI
- 3D mode now defaults to correct value
- Slider bar usability problems fixed

To create rings:

1 - Select a planet (or other body) - I like to use the Earth & Moon sandbox system. (Press Ctrl+1 to quick load)
2 - Click on the New Body icon (the planet with the +)
3 - Click on the Rings tab.
4 - Click on one of the presets (Geo, Saturn, Jupiter)
5 - Change the properties on the right side (if you want).

You can run the "update.exe" file that's in the install folder.

or

Just re-download the setup file and run that. Smiley

How do you make the custom rings?

Once you've added a ring to a planet you can adjust the properties on the right and the click the "Make Ring" button.

It's not labeled, but the 'button' right above "Make Rings" lets you choose from several preset looks. I've only added a single new gradient option and will be including more in the future.

There's currently no way to add new ring presets yet.

One other new feature to note... Click on the mass textbox to get a presets popup. There's also a popup for Gravity and Focus. Let me know what other presets you'd like to see.

How to color them?

I think the ring's menu should be simpler.

I hate this...  Angry

You color them with the drop down with the entry named "Rainbow" in the ring options.

Select a planet, click the rings tab, then click on one of the graphic squares to create some rings.

Now you can adjust the ring properties on the right.

It's not labeled, but the 'button' right above the "Make Rings" button lets you choose from several preset looks. I'll make this control more obvious in the next release. Sorry you're having trouble.
